| Description | Lithuania holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2013. Lithuania is the first of the three Baltic States that holds the presidency since joining the European Union in of 2004.
The stamp shows 16 flags, among them the Polish one. But the EU has 27 members. The flags of the Netherlands and Luxembourg are nearly identical (red-white-blue).
