Description4 sheets, each counting 8 stamps. On the margin the entrance of concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland. Inscription on the margin: UN Resolution 60/7 /HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE / JANUARY 27. Around a symbol with 6 flames the text: WE WILL NEVER FORGET SIX MILLION. January 27 was the date in 1945 that Auswitch was liberated by Soviet troops. Each stamp shows the portrait of an UN ambassador, who voted in favor of this resolution.
One of the stamps shows the portrait of the Polish UN-ambassador, Andrzej Towpik.
Identical sheets were released by Antigua & Barbuda, Gambia, Grenada, Mustique (St. Vincent) and Palau. This issue doesn't have postal value and has been printed especially for collectors.
