The stamp belongs to a set of 2, the other stamp shows L. van Beethoven. In 1975 Dahomey changed its name in People's Republic of Benin. This stamp was overprinted with the new name and a new value, due to inflation. In 1991 the country name was changed in Republic of Benin. |
