| Description | From May until October 1897 King Chulalongkorn of Thailand (then called Siam) paid a visit to many European cities, among them Warsaw. The stamp shows the King's portrait and 15 national flags. These flags carry the colors as usual in 1998 and belong to the visited countries. Poland didn't exist as an independent state but nevertheless the Polish flag is shown because of the King's visit to Warsaw. |
