DescriptionGeorges Remi (1907 – 1983), known by the pen name Hergé, was a Belgian cartoonist. His best known and most substantial work is the 23 completed comic books in The Adventures of Tintin series.
The Belgian Post issued a series of 25 stamps, showing the covers of all 24 cartoon albums of Tintin and one stamp showing the portrait of Hergé. All albums carry the title in another language. One book has the Polish title 'Tajemnica jednorożca' (The secret of the unicorn).
The series is also printed in the form of a sheet.
